Molto intensa invece la performance di Bruno Mars e Lady Gaga, vincitori del permio alla migliore performance di duo o gruppo che scelgono di interpretare California Dreamin’ dei The Mamas And Papas, a simboleggiare la vicinanza alle vittime di Los Angeles, quando avrebbero potuto esibirsi con la loro Die With a Smile. St.Vincent invece trionfa per quanto riguarda il genere alternative.
